President's Message:

Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor gloom of night shall keep the
CO-OPA from their regular meeting. But it will likely cut attendance a
bit, so see if you can make it this third Thursday, January 16 then come
and celebrate the year past and to come with us.

As has become our new custom, meet in the Bend Builder's Assist. The
street address is 63030 Powell Butte Hwy. Many thanks to Mike Robertson
allowing us to use his space. Bring something yummy to share at our
6:30pm potluck. Then we will finish up a short informal meeting a 7pm.

Ugly weather, for flying this Fly-out day. Certainly another breakfast
in town...

Fly-Outs:

The November weather being what is usually is to the west, We flew to
John Day for Brunch.

For New Years, there was a bonus fly-out to Baker City. Two planes flew
south around the weather, and one north around the weather. Not far from
Baker City the southern fliers had to turn back. The northern route by
way of La Grande was fine. So one planeload got a nice breakfast at the
Sumter Junction restaurant.

FAA Safety Meeting

Epic Aircraft and Leading Edge are hosting another FAA Safety Seminar.
This meetings title: Seattle Center and Air Space Users Safety
Presentation. "Our goal is to educate local pilots on the critical
safety issues in the RDM/BDN area.". In the Epic Showroom, Thursday,
January 23, 2020 at 10:30am. The last one was well received.
