Butler Aviation has been told to cease business on the Redmond Airport (KRDM) by May 26th. In response Butler sued the The City of Redmond for fraud and breach of contract. As a counter-response the City has ordered a 12,000 gallon AvGas tank, a 20,000 gallon JetA tank, and self service pumps “just in case”. The tanks will be installed on the north side of the airport. The construction will be start of multiple upgrades to the north side. February Fly-out: Great weather for our monthly fly-out to The Dalles (KDLS). Nary a bump on the way out, and only a couple on the way back. KDLS is in Washington State, but is jointly owned by Klickitat County Washington and the city of The Dalles in Oregon. KDLS is now home to the Red Racer Cafe. Opened late last year the place has been totally remodeled. Their were cool airplanes on the tamp, the food was good and the fellowship better.
