Website http://co-opa.com March 2017, Vol. 17, Issue 2 President's Message: No one gets to use weather as an excuse for not coming to our March meeting on the 16th. The weather is a lot better than it was, but if we can;t fly we can still talk flying. The usual applies. Come to the the Professional Air waiting room at KBDN. Arrive at 6pm for the usual chatter, we will do potluck at 6:30pm, and finish up with a short formal meeting at 7pm. Hope to see you all there, should be warm and dry inside! Continuing our horrible string of bad luck the weather for our Fly-Out is not good. Not really bad, just not good. Weather.gov forecasts a 50% chance of rain and gusts to 31 mph from the west on Saturday morning. Intellicast thinks a 54% chance of rain at 8am, with SSW sustained winds at 21 mph.. We could likely handle the light rain, but the 31 mph crosswind gusts do not sound fun. Once again it will be a Drive-In for this month’s destination.
