President's Message:

If we can’t go flying, at least we can talk about flying.  Both
past flying and future flying.  Maybe even just some wishful flying.

You guys know the drill: meet this Third Thursday, March 21, at
6pm.  Once again at the Bend Builder’s Assist hanger as our ‘new’
meeting location.  Many thanks for them allowing us to use their space.
The street address is 63030 Powell Butte Hwy (on the south west corner
of the airport), the same place the EAA Chapter 1345 meets.

Bring something tasty top share at our 6:30pm potluck.  Then we will
finish up a short informal meeting a 7pm.

Depending on whose forecast you use, our Fly-out day will be either
40% or 24% chance of rain and snow, and cloudy.  Ugh.  Looks like
we’ll be eating in town again, instead of flying.

Lets just keep reminding ourselves that Spring is here.  Soon the
snow will just be a good cocktail party story.

February Fly-Out:

Boy, I thought January was bad.  February was a record breaker.  So
a group of us headed to Sheri’s South for the warm companionship of
fellow pilots, served with warm coffee and a warm breakfast.  Before
heading back home to shovel...
