Clear day, smooth air down, a little bumpy on the return. Many cars, and planes on site. It was well attended. I was impressed with all the beautiful high mountain lakes we flew over East of Mt Shasta before the terrain dropped down into the Sacramento valley. Isolated, pretty sandy beaches, and very remote! Proposed Rules and Regulations Almost 4 months past their due data, the City of Bend coughed up the hairball that is the latest proposed about Airport Rules and Regulations. The City still feels that it can enact rules that override FCC and FAA regulations. The City feels it does not have to use standard terminology or adhere to FAA recommended practices. It clearly violates the FAA requirements for non-descrimination between user classes. Our only hope is that the City is as lax enforcing these new proposed rules as they have been enforcing the existing ones.
